Founded in 2001, by Monhamed El Banna and Mohamed Osman, Fait Maison is a business that has been built around a passion for delicious food, fabulous flavour and the finest ingredients.

Mohamed Osman, Managing Director

Passionate foodie and produce specialist, Mohamed Osman, was instrumental in originally setting up Fait Maison. His love of great top-notch ingredients and obsession with wholesome delicious home-made food were critical to Fait Maison’s success. Since setting up the business, he has driven it forward, helping it to evolve with the times, and has grown the business from one branch to a thriving operation with branches across West London. He has also helped to develop the company’s events and outside catering offer. On the rare occasions when he’s not working, Osman loves to research trends in food and dining, he has an undeniable entrepreneurial spirit, and rumour has it, that he was a national sports man (if table tennis counts).

Yvonne Osman, Creative Director and Executive Chef

Yvonne’s culinary creativity and flare for design are inspired by a wide array of influences springing from her richly varied and colourful heritage. She has a great eye for interiors and she’s the queen of finishing touches. Yvonne’s menu and dishes are very much based on traditional homemade middle-eastern food, referencing her Palestinian and her German roots. When she’s not at work, we gather she’s very green fingered in the garden – she also has an undeniable passion for handbags, sunglasses and fabulous manicures.

Mohamed El-Banna, Owner / Director / Executive Chef

Food, produce, recipe and all-round culinary enthusiast, Mohamed took over renowned butchers, Miller of Kensington in 1987. He has a real flare for cookery, in particular French classically inspired cuisine and it was this drive that inspired him, along with Mohamed Osman, to set up Fait Maison in June 2003.
He is a stalwart of the Stratford Village W8 community and he’s been instrumental Stratford Road street parties. When he’s not working he likes to do travel, eat out, spend time with his family.

Mariam El-Banna, Catering and Events Manager

Mariam graduated in interior architecture in 2008. She has worked here and overseas with various life-style magazines prior to joining Fait Maison’s team in 2013. She has carried forward our Events and Catering offer, working with customers to create wonderful bespoke events whatever the occasion.
Mariam is a passionate foodie, blogger and afternoon tea aficionado – she takes afternoon tea very seriously. Mariam is also responsible for the beautiful illustrations that you can see around our website and in a our restaurants.

Deena Osman, Manager, Fait Maison, 50 Gloucester Road

Deena has grown up totally immersed in and around the restaurant business. She has worked wonders in her branch, which is a wonderful haven in Gloucester Road, loved by locals and visitors from further afield.
